Catalyst Viva Das General Contracting L.L.C is a newly established contracting company, established in 2008. Based upon the vision of Mr. Youssef Ghaith and Mr. Ziad Hamzeh, who are both pioneers in the contracting industry in the Middle East and Africa. Catalyst is an organization developed through their breadth of experience in the region.

With over thirty-five years of presence and expertise in the UAE, Mr. Youssef Ghaith is the primary founder of Al Jaber Group, which has been involved in several of the most important developments projects executed in the country. Through his leadership and perseverance, Al Jaber is now considered amongst the top in its field. Mr. Ziad Hamzeh has also been in the construction business for several decades, and has managed projects in Syria, Lebanon and Nigeria. Together, they bring into Catalyst over 40 years of experience and project development in steel manufacturing, design build construction, carpentry works, and pre-cast concrete and building material plants for the projects they undertake. Both men have been instrumental in structuring and maintaining a commitment to success that is rooted in every employee. Their vision encompasses growth and innovation embedded in the cooperate culture as they strive for continuous success.

Catalyst Viva Das General Contracting L.L.C is a privately- owned company that consists of the following divisions: construction and infra structure development, general maintenance, logistics and transportation, steel fabrication, and equipment sales and rental. It provides full-service general construction and commercial contracting services. Headquartered in Abu Dhabi, UAE, Catalyst is lead by Mr. Ziad Hamzeh (CEO & President) and Mr. Fadi Ghaith (Senior Vice President). The company’s sizable and diverse staff offer extensive knowledge and experience in all concerned areas, and can handle all phases of construction projects, as well as all types and sizes of projects. Armed with the latest technology in equipment, our road foremen work closely with our onsite field supervisors to provide our clients with a finished and accurate product with the specified time frame. Our mission is to provide a full line of site construction and related a service to the site development industry, utilizing a team approach to deliver the highest quality of work.

We can handle any size project by using our equipment resource that includes, but not limited to: off-road trucks, scrapers, excavators, loaders, and bulldozers. There is no job too large or too small.

We have vast experience in all types of paving work, specializing in highways , local roads, private drivers, commercial parking lots, and airport runways and taxiways.

Our service include stone work, fine grading, asphalt paving, grinding and milling, ready-mix design, and paving project management.

We have the capacity to perform all types of asphalt paving, excavation and utility work, as well as site development work. We take pride in providing a diverse range of asphalt application for private and commercial customers.
